Set up of now

My semester had an early start and with my new load of stress I've been resorting to my  kit for stress relief. Drumming keeps my being centered without it I tend to fall into pits of sucky darkness, and fortunately I now have keys to the studio in which I grew up in (South Bay School Music). So wish me luck as I pursue this degree in Mechatronics/ Robotics Engineering.

Lately I have been enjoying really open sounding cymbals. I feel like ride cymbals are not my flavor for now which will probably change sometime in the future. But for now, here's my setup.

Cymbals (left to right)
Sabian AA 14" Thin crash on top / Vintage Paiste 804 14" hi-hat top on bottom
Vintage Zildjian 18" Marching cymbal
Paiste Signature series 18" Fast Crash

Kit
Vintage Yamaha Rock Custom ( I honestly forgot the sizes)
14" Tama Birch Solid body Snare with Die Cast rims
Vintage Camco pedal with bomb beater

The Little Corn Field

Milpitas California

Is home. I grew up in this so called city (I've always though of it as a town) that is a suburb of San Jose which is a suburb of San Francisco. In other words Milpitas is pretty small. In this small town-city-thingaboo it seems like there aren't many activities or outlets to put energy into. Yet in my 19 years or living here, I've noticed that Milpitas seems to spawn people who know how to make amends with the tiny amount of things to do in their city. Being here has connected me to so many amazing people who are creative, innovative, and lively. Among all the other stuff on this blog I'll try to show you my small perspective of this large (yet tiny) place called Milpitas.
