~Set up of the Week~

This week I assembled an extremely functional snare-heavy set up. Playing with this set was definitely interesting.



Drums 

  • Snare: Pearl Free Floating snare drum brass 14x3.5 in
  • Snare: Tama Metalworks steel snare drum 13x6.5 in       
  • Snare: Tama Starclassic bubinga/birch custom snare drum14x6   
  • Tom: Yamaha Rock-Tour rack tom 13x11 in
  • Bass:Yamaha Rock-Tour bass drum 22x20

Cymbals

  • Hi- Hats: Zildjian rock crash 14in (top) Paiste fast crash 14in (bottom)
  • Crash: Paiste Signature fast crash 18in
  • Ride: Zildjian Ride 22in
  • Stack: Paiste Rock crash 18in (top) Zildjian Rock crash 16in (top) both are cracked
  • China: Paiste Type-China

Setup of the Week

Every week I have practice with a Jazz quartet that goes by the name of New Albany. Whenever I play I try to keep my sound fresh and new by having a different setup every time. Changing my setup keeps me on my toes and makes the music even more enjoyable to play. That being said, here is my set up of the week.
